What a surprise to find a garden centre full of the sounds and sights of Africa right in the Midlands of England. That's just what we discovered and it was a wonderful time of remembering when it was home.

The life size animal are brought over from Kenya and made by artists there using scrap metals. There were also the usual African curios which I will remember to invest in some other day.

God bless Africa
So interesting Ann and so close by. I am surprised you just discovered it, but the timing must have been perfect!

I'm so glad you found a little "Africa" there in the Midlands.....and warm to boot! Do you still long to go back to SA?

Not so much nowadays Jody. I was actually surprised how nostalgic I felt ;)
ReplyDeleteWe'll definitely make another visit there over Summer.
